Self-diagnosis function: can carry out self-diagnosis and check errors. In addition, self-diagnostics are performed periodically during operation (within the response time).

External equipment monitoring function: Check for misoperation, such as whether the external relay (or contactor) that controls the dangerous part of the machine is welded. This function continuously monitors whether the external device of the light receiving device monitors whether the specified voltage is applied to the input line, and when an error occurs, the system enters the interlock state. The maximum time that the relay action delay is not recognized as an error is 300ms.

Interlock function: When turned on or the optical axis is blocked, the safety output will be turned off at this time and will remain in this state until the reset input is applied.

There are two types of reset interlocks, namely "automatic reset method" and "manual reset method", the former automatically turns on the control output after removing the block, and the latter keeps the control output off before applying the reset signal after the block is removed.

Automatic reset: The safety output will automatically turn on after the occluded object is removed from the detection area. The automatic reset method is used when the worker cannot access the area between the inspection area and the hazardous parts of the machine.

Manual reset: The reset input is applied to turn on the safety output when there are no objects in the detection area causing occlusion. This function can manually reset the machine with the reset switch after confirming safety, thus preventing unnecessary start-up.

Muting function: The safety function of the light grid can be temporarily disabled so that the safety output can remain on even if the optical axis is blocked.

Partial muting function: When the workpiece passes through the optical axis, the partial muting function can ensure safety without activating the muting.

Position detection muting: When the robot is in a safe position, use limit switches or other measures, and then enable the muting function.

Fixed blanking zone function: It is possible to disable specific optical axes in the grating. This function keeps the safety outputs on even if some parts of the mechanical equipment are in the detection area.

Floating blanking area function: The detection radius of the grating can be increased, thereby improving its detection capability, and the safety output is turned off when multiple objects are detected. If there is a moving object of fixed width in the detection area, but it is not necessary to detect the object, the detection function can be disabled.

Alarm area function: divide the detection area into detection area and alarm area. When an object enters the warning area, the warning light will illuminate or the buzzer will sound an alarm without stopping the mechanical equipment.

Serial connection function: The serial connection enables multiple sets of safety light curtains to be used as a set of safety light curtains. When in use, the controller only needs to connect a set of light curtains to prevent mutual interference.
