The illuminator emits several invisible infrared beams, and the light receiver receives the infrared beams from the illuminator, forming a rectangular detection light curtain. The whole set of gratings are detected by beam scanning. Any opaque object larger than a certain size (such as a part of the operator's body, opaque workpieces, etc.) intrudes into the light curtain area, which will cause shading. When the safety grating detects the shading, it will enter the "abnormal" state - interrupt output within 20ms of the response time (for example, the relay will enter the off state from the closed state, the transistor will enter the off state, etc.), so it will be used on many potentially dangerous mechanical equipment to ensure safe use and avoid accidents!
